Great story! The U.S. should CHERISH men like Carlos! I NEVER would have made it across the "Desert of Death"-- I wouldn't have dared to try. I am in awe of those who do--especially considering the extremely hostile climate in America these days. :( The grit, courage, strength of character, humility, honesty, selflessness (sending his money home to his family) His parents should be very proud of him!
